"Welcome! Congratulations on beginning your journey to living a more whole-hearted life. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, with the goal of offering a non-judgmental space that supports you living your best life, whatever that looks like for you. I primarily utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, where our work is to help you change the relationship you have with your distress, develop mindfulness skills, and work to move your day-to-day life in the direction of your values. I am a member of the LGBTQ+ Affirmative Therapist Guild of Utah. I am trained as a yoga teacher as well, and love using mindful movement as part of my therapeutic work. I completed my Master of Social Work with a Mental Health focus at the University of Utah, and have been in practice for ten years. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety disorders, mood disorders, faith and life transitions, and trauma. I am open to working with ages 13+, and have additional experience working with individuals experiencing dementia, as well as their caregivers." After booking, Tava Health will text and email you a link to complete registration and join your video therapy session. After you complete registration, you’ll be able to log in to Tava to join your session, book additional sessions, and message your therapist. Appointments are for talk therapy over video. This therapist can not provide medication prescriptions, emotional support animal (ESA) letters, or immigration psychological evaluations.
