What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy with me looks like stepping into a virtual safe, non-judgmental space to process and reflect on wherever you may be at this moment in time. My specialties include teen and adult neurodivergency (ADHD/Autism), twins (I'm a twin myself! I don't see twins together, but understand the nuances of being a twin), stress, anxiety, depression, LGBTQIA+, and life transitions.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first few sessions, I’ll take time to get to know you, your goals, and what’s been challenging. I want to understand not only the difficulties you’re facing, but also your strengths and what feels most supportive for you. Together, we’ll decide what approach feels best. This may include talk therapy, art-making, mindfulness, or a mix of methods depending on your comfort level. A typical session might include space for you to share what’s on your mind, followed by a guided activity or creative process that helps us explore your experiences in a new way. You don’t need to have any art experience. Art therapy is about expression and insight, not about making something “perfect.” We’ll then reflect on what came up and connect it back to your goals. Over time, our sessions may focus on building coping strategies, processing emotions, strengthening self-understanding, and finding new ways to approach challenges. My role is to offer a safe, collaborative space where you feel supported and understood.
