What should a new client know about working with you?

I utilize a variety of different approaches such as EMDR, CBT, and DBT depending on your needs. I am trauma informed and serious about getting to the root of the issue. I strive to be a counselor you feel connected with and can share uncomfortable/painful things with. Also, I do not take insurance.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

After you book through ZocDoc, I will contact you via phone call or text to confirm your appointment and then I will email you intake documents to complete before your session. In your first session we will discuss what brings you to therapy and make a plan for the future sessions together if you feel that we are a good fit. The hope is that we begin a relationship that feels safe and encouraging.
