With seven years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients throughout clinic, school, home, outpatient, and residential treatment settings, Alliea utilizes a strengths based approach and values establishing a therapeutic alliance based on understanding and acceptance and meets people where they are in their recovery process. With a patient-centered approach, Alliea believes in building strong relationships with her patients based on trust and open communication. She takes the time to listen to her patients' concerns, thoroughly explains diagnoses and treatment options, and works collaboratively to develop personalized care plans that align with her patients' goals and values. Outside of her therapeutic practice, Alliea enjoys spending time with family, walking her dog, camping, boating, yoga, Pilates, swimming, and reading non-fiction and fiction mysteries. Alliea believes in maintaining a healthy work-life balance and encourages her patients to embrace wellness in all aspects of their lives. Alliea's favorite quote is, "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do.
