With 15 years of professional experience providing psychotherapy, I have had the honor of working with people from all walks of life—from Community Mental Health to providing therapy to sexual assault survivors at UCLA. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University. Now, as the owner of my own practice, I feel passionate about working with people to identify what is holding them back, process their thoughts and feelings, and empower them with new skills and tools to help them feel more connected to themselves and find a path forward. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, and pre- and postnatal women. In sessions, I combine my specialized training in these areas, my experience, along with empathy, warmth, and humor to support you in your healing. I am committed to helping you reach a point where you feel safe, connected, and re-engaged in the life you deserve. You deserve space to process and heal. You deserve a fulfilled life. What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe in the power of the human spirit and am honored to get to walk alongside people on their path to healing. I have advanced training in both cognitive and somatic therapies. This means we can address both the thoughts and the trauma held in the body, which allows for holistic healing. Warmth, empathy, and safety along with evidenced based interventions allow you to feel safe now and move forward with healing. You deserve to be reconnected to yourself and those around you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The initial session will consist of us getting to know one another and learning about what brought you into therapy along with your goals. We will work initially toward symptom relief to help you right now. Then begin the journey to deeper healing.

I am in network with Aetna and United Healthcare, this means I will file the claims on your behalf. If you have out of network benefits through a different insurance I am happy to provide a receipt (often called a superbill) that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
