Getting to know Allison Fuller
If you're looking for help managing anxiety spirals, or understanding behavior patterns that are keeping you stuck, you're in the right place. I work best with clients who are prepared to do the work that comes with true healing and self-growth.
Our work will be a partnership, and it will be in your power to identify our goals for therapy, prioritize where we start, and to redirect the process if you feel something needs to change.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each individual, drawing from evidence-based modalities like DBT, CBT, IFS, REBT, and EMDR. By working collaboratively, we can explore your goals, identify obstacles, and develop practical strategies for creating positive change. Let's schedule a consultation and talk more about it!
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I offer a free, 15-minute phone consultation where you can chat with me a bit about what your goals for therapy are. If you feel we'd be a good fit, I'll ask you to complete several basic assessments (PHQ-9, GAD-7, ACE) depending on your therapeutic goals so that we can track symptoms over time. Our first full session (the "intake" session) would also be over the phone, where I would gather more background information about your family, close relationships, and current day-to-day life. All of this data gives me valuable insight into what you're bringing to therapy, and what might be helpful to you.
