Nice to meet you, my name is Allison Konovalova. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Albizu University, Miami Campus. I have many years of experience working with clients facing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, addiction, and personality disorders. Whatever the reason you are seeking therapy, I am here to walk the path with you in a way that makes you feel comfortable and safe from the start.
Whether you are a member of a recently blended family trying to build connection, struggling with mental health challenges, or a single person who tends to end up with emotionally unavailable partners, I can help you identify thoughts and behaviors that may be holding you back. I specialize in relationship issues, offering individual, couples, and family therapy. If you’ve tried to fix ongoing problems within yourself or your relationships without success, help is here!
I enjoy teaching mindfulness skills, CBT, and DBT to help clients overcome anxiety and low self-esteem and increase self-confidence. I utilize a holistic approach—mind, body, and spirit—and work collaboratively with clients to empower them to find the solutions they need within themselves using a systemic approach.
Therapy is a collaborative, transformative experience, and the benefits of the therapeutic relationship can be lifelong. I have found that the potential for growth and change is unlimited with the right support at the right time.

I am easy to open up to, and clients often feel relieved that I am more directive than a therapist who listens without guidance.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
