“The best therapist I’ve ever had the lucky chance of coming across. She has helped me through my initial depression, job changes, bad break up, toxic relationships, self-growth and so much more What I like the best about her is that she tells you what you need to hear not what you want to hear but she does it in a way that direct but gentle almost like tough love. I’ve used her services for years. Began as a client in Arizona and continued her services for years. I hit some financial difficulty so had to discontinue however, she is always on my mind as the person to go to when I need it. Highly recommend. My life has gotten so much better when I use her services. She’s flexible with adjusting how often you see each other as well - (Arizona)”

Allison is patient yet firm which leads to an honest, productive and enriching session every time.
Allison is great - empathetic, thoughtful, and full of helpful suggestions. Highly recommend!
I would not recommend Alison Norman, LCSW to anyone. First they canceled my appointment three times and then I seen her for 1/2 hour. I was told they’d be in touch with me about the next appointment. I was strung along for two weeks then told Allison was burnt out and couldn’t take me on as a client. Her bedside manner was terrible and very unprofessional.

I left two or three voicemails because I never received any instructions on how to join the session. No one answered the phone and I never received any communication about a cancellation or anything. As someone who is in desperate need of a therapist, this behavior is ridiculous. My appointment was confirmed and I filled out everything I needed on my end. I waited by my phone and not a peep. I checked my email a hundred times and still nothing.

Extremely kind, thoughtful, and caring. Not only is she a great listener, but she provides incredible insight, knowledge and support for whatever I am currently experiencing. I know she genuinely cares about how I am doing. She has helped to guide me as I continue to grow and learn about the human I am striving to become. I feel very lucky and blessed to have her as my therapist.
Allison has helped me navigate complex parts of my anxiety and growth journey. I feel comfortable opening up and practicing better habits. Would recommend her practice
Allison created a safe and welcoming environment from our first session. She's a thoughtful listener and an incredibly kind, intelligent, practical, and compassionate therapist.
Allison is insightful and productive. She's been able to effectively challenge beliefs/behaviors I've been trying to understand and deconstruct for a while (where other therapists I've seen in the past have not). Every session brings new revelations. I'm extremely glad I found her.
Allison has changed my understanding of what talk therapy can do. My partner and I reached out to Allison as a final attempt to save our relationship; years of previous individual and couples therapy had failed to resolve our issues. Almost immediately, Allison’s caring yet direct guidance helped us address our concerns in tangible and lasting ways. As trans, non-binary clients of color, we were initially worried that she would not be able to understand our many complex histories and dynamics, but Allison is able to navigate experiences outside of her own with compassion and confidence. Her thoughtful and clear observations, re-framings, and suggestions have challenged us both to face our own “shortcomings” and to grow as individuals and as a couple. Her expertise in and passion for the work is obvious.
Allison does virtual visits and is an amazing therapist. Having her for a while is great as she has a deep understanding of her patients, and allows them to guide their therapeutic journey. LGBTQ friendly and on the younger side, she’s a great choice for any young adult who needs therapy
