My name is Allison Terrell, and I am excited to share in your therapeutic experience. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Social Work from Fayetteville State University. My professional training began in 2007, and I have worked in a variety of settings, including hospice, the Department of Juvenile Justice, Intensive In-Home services, outpatient care, and substance abuse treatment. My counseling approach is warm, open, and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, regard, sensitivity, and complete compassion. My approach incorporates cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, and rational-emotive counseling techniques. I will customize our personal dialogue and treatment, with the ultimate goal of meeting your unique and specific needs. I promote self-determination and believe that together, we can make effective and long-lasting changes to increase everyday coping skills for an optimum outcome.
