Hi, I'm Ally! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Kentucky. I am passionate about supporting clients to grow and excel amid life challenges. I want everyone to grow and become a healthier version of themselves. My approach is client-centered. I will meet you where you are in life with empathy, open-mindedness, and unconditional positive regard. What does this mean? My goal is to support you and validate your concerns while providing a safe, judgment-free space to heal and grow. I want to be a resource that equips you with the tools needed to address your challenges so healing can occur. I specialize in treating PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, and ADHD. I work with individuals 13 years or older from all racial backgrounds. I create a relaxed environment where you can feel comfortable. Working with me feels like speaking with someone you know and trust. My journey to mental healthcare began after one of my closest friends endured abuse. I watched her struggle without therapy and saw the toll it took on her. Years later, I witnessed the benefits therapy brought as she healed her trauma and achieved life goals. I believe everyone has the right to mental health care and to feel heard about their life situations. My drive comes from knowing I can support and help people live healthier, happier lives. I want to meet you where you are and help you identify goals for your life. I believe that individually identified goals are key to progress. I will provide you with the tools and resources to help you meet these goals more healthily and easily. Our first session will involve gathering information so I can better understand your needs and how I can best support you in therapy.
