What should a new client know about working with you?

My clients typically tell me how much better they feel after one session. Starting by building rapport, I want to hear your story! I don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable or like they are giving up their past to someone they don't know. I believe in a trust-based relationship and going at your pace as you are comfortable. Clients tell me they feel like they have chatted with a friend but realize there has been growth in the conversation. To me, that is the way it should be.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I take a positive and holistic approach to therapy. I think it is important to find balance in your life and it starts with improving self-esteem and good self-care. I have a person-centered approach meaning you are in charge; we go at your speed and things should always be comfortable for you during therapy.
