BloomWell Therapeutics provides a hybrid experience of both virtual and in-person services within the Topsail area.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I offer a variety of interventions tailored to your needs, integrating the natural world. My goal is to explore how our minds and bodies interact with our environment, as well as the stories we create from that experience. Sessions that take place in natural settings, free us from the constraints of an office. We could meet in a park, walk along the beach, or hike a trail—whatever suits your preferences. My goal for you is to reconnect with your body! My background is in community mental health and counseling within the military community. I hold a certificate in Horticulture Therapy and Nature-Informed Therapy. I utilize multiple modalities when selecting interventions for my clients as I believe one way does not work for everyone.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

First step is reaching out to see if our schedules align! Second, is to see if we're a good fit. My approach is causal, however I provide a ton of psychoeducation to make sure you know how your brain and body work. I understand I may not be your cup of tea- that is okay! I want to help connect you with someone who is actually going to help you reach your goals. My diagnostic approach tends to be conservative as I don't believe most people meet the requirements. I view diagnoses as doors, and if we don't need a door to open- then why do we need that key? I tend to collaborate with you on what this looks like, I don't think there should be any surprises!
