Psychotherapist
OK
Hi there, I'm Alyse! I am an LPC-S who believes therapy should be a place where you can show up exactly as you are. I work with people navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, life transitions, and feeling stuck. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to heal and grow. My focus I work with adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship challenges, major life transitions, or simply feeling overwhelmed or stuck. I especially enjoy helping people understand how past experiences impact the present, break unhealthy patterns, rebuild confidence, and move toward the life they want. My approach My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and individualized to you. I draw from CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, person-centered, and other evidence-based approaches. I believe in understanding the “why” behind patterns while also building practical skills that help you create meaningful change outside of therapy. My communication style I’m warm, genuine, and conversational, and I want therapy to feel like a safe place to be completely yourself. I’ll listen without judgment, but I also won’t just nod and agree with everything you say. I’ll ask questions, gently challenge you when needed, celebrate your progress, and probably use some humor along the way. My journey to mental healthcare I didn't choose this work only because I studied it, I have also lived through some hard things. As a survivor of trauma and suicidality, I know what it is like to need hope when you can't quite find yourself. Those experiences drew me to this work and gave me a deep belief that our hardest chapters don't have to define the rest of our story. My goals for you We’ll identify what you want to be different and turn that into realistic, meaningful goals. Together, we’ll explore what may be keeping you stuck, build skills you can actually use in everyday life, and regularly check your progress.
