Hello there. I am Alysha Hays, LCSW, Psychotherapist. Since 2011, I have provided therapy to individuals, children, teens, adults, elderly, couples, and families. I earned my Bachelor's and Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Bakersfield. My therapy approach is client-centered, focusing on each person exactly where they are, helping them gain perspective and take back control of their life. There is no judgment; each client is welcomed and supported throughout their therapy journey. My approach I use integrative therapy, combining techniques from various psychological approaches tailored to each client’s needs and preferences. I commonly use client-centered, multicultural, cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems, and positive psychology to help clients lead more meaningful, resilient lives. My focus I have worked with diverse populations and issues including depression, anxiety, ADHD, behavioral problems, special needs, child abuse and neglect, sexual abuse, trauma, human trafficking, and domestic violence. I have experience with corrections, child services, transgender, gay and lesbian clients, crisis situations, children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My communication style Sessions are warm and friendly. I’m practical and easygoing but can be direct and firm as needed, depending on a client’s circumstances. I genuinely care about my clients and their wellbeing. Speaking with someone outside your family or social circle can be helpful. No matter how serious your problem, confidentiality is assured, so you can be open and honest about your feelings or circumstances. You can express yourself freely without fear of judgment, mockery, or rejection.
