I earned my B.A. in Psychology from Rutgers University, and I received my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. My therapeutic approach includes creating a supportive and empathetic environment to help clients navigate their challenges and discover/work on the goals they want to achieve in therapy. My overall philosophy is therapy should be a collaborative effort between therapist and client with some directness thrown in when needed. Some of the models I integrate in my work are Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, and Cognitive Behavioral. My outside interests include being a cat mom and becoming a plant enthusiast.
