I specialize in working clients who are using substances to escape and numb from uncomfortable feelings. I believe we have more control over our lives than our painful histories allow us to believe. My hope for each client is greater choice and expansion in ways of coping. I utilize EMDR with clients who are seeking to lessen the emotional charge of traumatic memories. I enjoy supporting clients in developing skills to manage overwhelming urges. I love watching people live authentic lives that align with their values, and I believe recovery of all sorts is within reach!
