Getting to know Alyssa Jimenez-Solis
I have worked with children, adolescents, and their families/caregivers for over 9 years. I enjoy working with children of all ages, supporting them and those involved in their lives in understanding behaviors and responses to whatever life circumstances may arise. I have worked with typically and atypically developing children from birth to 18 in varying areas, such as mood disorders, intellectual disorders, anxiety, trauma, self-care, relationships/friendships, developmental delays, trauma, mindfulness, and coping skills. My goal as a therapist is to empower children and their caregivers to competently and confidently manage day-to-day life challenges and major events with the appropriate tools and skills for every family's unique needs.
