I feel honored and privileged that you are seeking our support. I am Alyssa Webb-McCune, a Licensed Professional Counselor and the owner of Natural Balance Counseling. I know it's not a matter of IF life will get unbalanced and messy; it's more a matter of WHEN that will happen. I get it! I know you have been doing your best to handle things on your own, but you deserve the support to succeed and thrive in life, not just having to coast the best you can. My role as a counselor is to walk alongside you and help sort through things when the mess seems too much for one person, parent, couple, or family to handle. You don't have to go through this alone. I believe that when you leave my counseling office, you should be able to leave with insight and skills that are practical and applicable to your daily life. I know you have a home you go back to, and I want to ensure the changes and goals we work on can be attainable. I graduated in 2017 from Sam Houston State University with a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling. I am also currently studying to receive my Doctorate in Professional Counseling with a focus on Sex and Sexuality from Houston Graduate School of Theology. Consistent learning is one of the ways I can provide you with the best and highest quality services and stay up to date on current research and trends in the mental health field. I am also passionate about creating a workplace atmosphere for my clinicians where they can thrive as counselors without the additional stress that can come with other environments. When I take care of my counselors, they care for their clients, and everyone thrives!
