What should a new client know about working with you?

Alyssa wants clients to know, “You don’t need the perfect words, a clear goal, or even a full understanding of what’s bringing you in. Just showing up is an act of strength. Therapy is a space where you get to be fully human—messy, uncertain, overwhelmed, curious—and that’s not only okay, it’s welcome. We’ll figure things out together, at your pace.”

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Alyssa works with complex trauma—long-term exposure to distressing experiences that impact self-worth, trust, and emotional regulation—helping clients gently untangle these layers, rebuild safety, and reclaim their stories at their own pace. In relationships, she collaborates with clients to uncover patterns shaped by attachment and past wounds, turning struggles into opportunities for growth and connection. For women’s issues, Alyssa offers a nurturing, non-judgmental space where clients can reclaim their voices and navigate identity, societal pressures, and life transitions with confidence.
