Hi there, I'm Amanda! I provide a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where clients can feel heard while working through life's challenges. Using evidence-based approaches such as CBT and ACT, I help clients better understand their thoughts and emotions, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful change. My focus I work with those who struggle with self-image and self-judgment, situations/events they cannot control, depression, anxiety, trauma, struggles in relationships, and those who struggle with emotional regulation. I also love to work with faith-based clients to give biblical principles to apply to life. My approach I am a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and I use CBT to identify and challenge distorted thought patterns that contribute to depression, anxiety, relationship problems and low self-worth as well as processing trauma, I help clients identify unhealthy relationship patterns and improve relationships and decision-making. My communication style My communication style is warm and inviting, direct and nonjudgmental. Our first session We'll begin by talking about what brought you to counseling and what you are hoping to accomplish. There is no pressure to share everything during the first session. I'll ask questions about different areas of your life to better understand your experiences, including current concerns and symptoms.
