Psychotherapist
NJ
Hi there, I'm Amanda! Welcome! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I strive to provide a non-judgmental space where your unique experiences are heard and respected. My focus I enjoy working with independent professionals, students, artists, creatives, and self-employed folks navigating the ups and downs of nontraditional work and life. I offer a space to explore burnout, imposter syndrome, performance anxiety, financial uncertainty, and the emotional highs and lows that come with it. My approach My approach to therapy is supportive and collaborative. Let's be real, life is hard and when stress piles up or something big shakes your world, there's no shame in seeking support. With therapy, you don't have to figure it all out alone. My goal is to help folks slow down and respond to life with greater clarity, stability, and trust. My communication style My style is compassionate and inquisitive. I’ll help you explore what’s underneath the surface, notice triggers and patterns, challenge you when it may be helpful, all while keeping therapy human, approachable, and occasionally funny. My journey to mental healthcare My path to becoming a therapist started early. Growing up, I was exposed to anxiety, depression, and the ways mental health struggles can affect entire families. Those experiences sparked a curiosity about people and how we respond to life and our environments. My goals for you I help clients reach their goals by slowing things down, making sense of what they’re experiencing, and identifying the patterns that may be keeping them stuck. Together, we build practical tools and strategies that can help them feel more confident, grounded, and capable in their everyday lives. Our first session Our first session is a chance to understand what brings you to therapy. I don’t follow a strict agenda and I tend to let you lead the way, focusing on what feels most important to you.
