Getting to know Amanda Glatthaar

I received my bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Washington in Seattle and my Master’s in Rehabilitation and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida. What should a new client know about working with you?

As your therapist, I’m here to help you get to the root of you issues, working through the foundational reasons for you trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions and more. Together we can create meaningful, long-lasting change at your core as I offer support through whatever life may bring. I’ve worked with clients from age two to 84 and I look forward to hearing your story. I offer an open and accepting environment where we can explore your experiences and how they have impacted your mental health. Let’s get started!

What is your typical process for working with clients?

As your therapist, I am here to walk alongside you in your journey of healing and growth. Our work together provides a supportive space to create joy and meaning in your life. With a background in severe and persistent mental health concerns, I know what it can look like when your mental health and well-being becomes too much to manage. From working with teens and adults struggling with high suicidality to individuals with debilitating mood, thought and personality disorders, I’m ready to help to work through anything that comes up for you.
