Amanda Hunter, owner of Everlasting Wellness LLC, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Barry University and a Bachelor’s from West Chester University. She is a Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C) Therapist, the first PMH-C in Berks County, Nationally Certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). Amanda also serves as the PSI Support Coordinator for Berks and Schuylkill Counties, connecting women and their families to community resources. Amanda has intensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Therapy, Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Grief and Loss, Infertility, Depression, and Anxiety. She has worked with diverse populations across all ages and has therapeutic experience in schools, hospitals, doctor’s offices, outpatient settings, foster care, hospitalization programs (adult and children), in-home services, and home health care agencies. In addition, Amanda offers a free support group for mothers dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, and related challenges. Her main goal is to make it known that people struggling with mental health disorders or simply trying to get through each day are not alone and can feel better with help and support. Amanda has both personal and professional experience with Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs), having struggled with Perinatal Anxiety and OCD during her pregnancy and postpartum journey. She now enjoys life with her wonderful husband and two young boys, whom she loves dearly.
