She earned her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Utah College of Social Work, where she served as MSW Student Association Co-President and received the 2017 Connie Mortensen Woolsey Memorial Award for Achievement and Promise in Mental Health and Medical Social Work. Additionally, Amanda holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a minor in Ethnic Studies from Central Washington University. Amanda specializes in supporting young adults and college students struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma. She is LGBTQ+ affirming and has experience working with clients in consensual non-monogamy relationships. Amanda relies on evidence-based methods to support her clients. Common modalities she uses include Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Trauma-Focused approaches.
