My approach I use a cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused approach to my practice in order to identify ways to increase positive thinking, eliminate negative self-talk and doubt, and create positive behavioral changes to support new habits, routines, and overall mindset. We will work together as a team to develop therapy skills, techniques, and resources that are helpful to you, and at the same time, develop a therapeutic relationship based on trust and respect. My focus Whether you are struggling with life stressors, relationship problems, family conflict, anxiety, depressive symptoms, chronic medical issues, or just want to focus on self-improvement, I am here to help you with your therapy goals! I maintain an open and honest environment where each client can be their true self without having to put on "their best face". Your therapy session is your time, and I want to help you make the most of your mental health journey. My communication style In a therapy session with me, you will find that you can be yourself without having to filter your language or communication style. I maintain an open, honest, and non-judgmental approach to my practice. You can be assured that no matter the topic, concern, question, or issue, you will receive nothing but support, encouragement, empathy, and understanding from me as your therapist. My journey to mental healthcare I have always had an interest in mental health and the human brain, and after struggling with my own personal mental health issues and experiencing the mental health stigma around mental health and therapy itself, I decided to become a therapist!
