Amanda Marshall, MS

Psychotherapist
FL
I’ve been an equestrian since I was eight years old, and horses have been a meaningful part of my life ever since. I grew up participating in 4-H and later had the opportunity to compete in college at Salisbury University. After earning my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I knew I wanted to find a way to bring together two things I’m deeply passionate about: mental health and the equestrian community. I created Mind in the Saddle as a way to give back to the community that has given me so much. As both a counselor and lifelong equestrian, I understand that riding is about so much more than what happens in the saddle. My goal is to help fellow equestrians work through anxiety, fear, confidence struggles, performance pressure, and the unique emotional challenges that come with being a rider. Because your mind is part of your ride.
