Getting to know Amanda Nowman

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with supervisory-designation and Licensed Independent Chemical-Dependency Counselor serving individuals in the state of Ohio. I have extensive experience in the mental health and substance-use treatment space. I really enjoy working with people who are preparing to enter a season of change, growth, and improved health — whatever that may look like for each individual! I am experienced in treating individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance-use disorders, mood and thought disorders, ADHD, and many other conditions. I look forward to partnering with my clients in their pursuit of individualized success. I assume a very collaborative, client-centered approach in my practice. I firmly believe that my clients are the experts on their lives, problems, experiences, situations, and strengths. I desire to serve as a support and a partner in assisting them to navigate life’s challenges and empowering them to reach their goals. This work is my passion, and it is my goal to see that this translates into every interaction I have with every client.
