Getting to know Amanda Woosley

Hi! I'm Amanda. I take a firm, caring, and validating approach to therapy. That means I’ll support and encourage you, while also helping you face the challenges that may be keeping you stuck. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and understood as we work together toward meaningful change. Therapy with me is an active and collaborative process. I believe change is possible, and I’m here to help you find clarity, build resilience, and take steps that align with your values and goals. If you're ready to begin, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with individuals and couples using research-based therapy approaches, including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy), and the PREPARE/ENRICH model for couples. These tools help us get to the heart of the issue and move toward healing and growth. Whether you're feeling stuck, hurt, disconnected, or simply unsure of where to start, I want you to know that you're not alone, and you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. Together, we’ll work at a pace that feels right for you. I believe real change is possible, and I’m here to support you through every step of that journey.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process is very person-centered and collaborative. In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know one another through an intake appointment. This includes talking about your goals, what brought you to therapy, and what you would like to see change. Together, we’ll create a treatment plan that reflects your needs and values, and I’ll walk you through what to expect moving forward. Each session after that is guided by your goals. We’ll check in regularly, adjust our approach as needed, and work together toward growth and healing at a pace that feels right for you.
