Welcome to A New Day Psychotherapy! It is my honor to work as a licensed clinical professional who can meet your needs for quality psychological care. It takes courage to seek mental health care, and I invite you to take a deep breath and allow me to support you on your journey to healing. I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who has practiced psychotherapy with individuals, couples, and families since 2005. I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy Counseling from Fuller Theological Seminary and a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Irvine. I believe every individual has the right to integrate mind, body, and soul to become authentic and maintain quality relationships. I support every person from all walks of life to know it is possible to LIVE in life rather than just survive.
Do you suffer from low self-worth? Negative body image? Past sexual traumas? Eating disorders or disordered eating patterns? I have specialized in eating disorders for nearly a decade. I have worked as a Primary Therapist, Program Director, and Clinical Director at PHP/IOP and residential eating disorder facilities throughout Southern and Northern California. I am working toward obtaining my CEDS (Certified Eating Disorder Specialist) through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals and am a passionate supporter of IAEDP and NEDA. Together, I can help identify and reduce destructive eating patterns that have affected your quality of life. Additionally, I am a Certified Family Wellness Instructor who has provided quality couple and family therapy to enrich the family system.
