What should a new client know about working with you?
I love helping clients improve their lives, feel more grounded and rational, and rebuild their confidence. I take you, your story, and your goals very seriously. Many clients say to me that they have felt dismissed or disbelieved by other therapists. I know that toxic relationships are designed to make the victimized person look and feel crazy, and I believe the stories my clients tell me. I use CBT and trauma informed care, including EMDR, to work with both women and men, and with folks struggling with adult siblings, toxic parents, and difficult work situations. I am also trained in couples therapy and crisis response, and have a special understanding of the stressors facing medical personnel and people who work in educational environments.
Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Initial session: $185 for 50 minutes
Ongoing session: $185 for 50 minutes
- Sliding scale: Offers lower out-of-pocket fees on an individual basis, typically based on your ability to pay

My practice doesn't bill insurance, so when you work with me, payment will be direct. If you'd like to use your FSA or HSA card to pay, that works. I can help you document your payments for reimbursement if you like of need. My standard rate through 9/1/2024 is $185/session, and is payable each session.
