Getting to know Amber Hastings
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist that uses a client-centered approach to meet you where you are at and address your specific individualized needs to help you get to where you want to be. I work with individuals, couples, children, teens, and families. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is the most common therapeutic approach that I use when working with clients. However, I pride myself on being able to use an overall more "eclectic" approach with a blend of many different approaches to address individualized needs from several different angles and methods to ensure a well-rounded treatment experience with positive outcomes and increased happiness. I have a very kind and gentle, yet direct, communication style. I value having a genuinely safe and non-judgmental therapeutic environment to allow you to unapologetically be yourself so that I can truly get to know you and help you more accurately and effectively. No need to bring your "filter" to our session - I am here for the whole you! My goal is to help you accomplish your goals and help you become the best version of you. What do you ultimately want? What don't you like about right now? What is missing in your life? What does happiness mean to you and what does that look like? Let's map out the baby steps and make it happen together!
