As a dedicated and compassionate therapist, I am honored to support individuals on their journeys toward healing, growth, and self-discovery. With a solid foundation in evidence-based practices and a deep commitment to understanding each person’s unique story, I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My journey into the field of therapy began with a deep passion for helping others navigate life’s complexities. I hold a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University, earned in 2014, and have been an independently Licensed Professional Counselor since 2022. Over the course of my career, I have worked with diverse populations in various settings, including community mental health, schools, research, families, and shelter programs. This experience has enriched my perspective and equipped me to address a wide range of mental health concerns. I specialize in mood and anxiety disorders, life transitions, grief, and interpersonal challenges. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process where clients are the experts of their own lives. My role is to serve as a guide, offering insights and techniques that empower individuals to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. My approach is integrative, including CBT, Mindfulness, and Brief Solution Focused Therapy. I am committed to fostering a welcoming space where clients from all backgrounds feel seen, heard, and respected. I value diversity and strive to provide culturally sensitive care that acknowledges and honors each individual’s unique identity and experiences. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming, and I am experienced in addressing the specific needs of marginalized communities. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel daunting, but it is also an act of hope and self-care. Together, we can create a plan that aligns with your needs and aspirations, helping you move toward a brighter, more balanced future.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am not your traditional therapist. My goal is to foster a space where you feel safe and confident in expressing yourself in the many ways you need to. I want my clients to approach sessions as 50-mintues that are just about them, their experiences and their needs.
