Amberlee Venti, LPC

Amberlee Venti, LPC

Psychotherapist
110 S 20th St 2nd, Fl, Philadelphia, PA
I have worked in mental health and social work for over 15 years. I am a problem solver and advocate by nature. I specialize in life transitions-including graduating, getting married, having a child, and changing careers-as well as depression, anxiety, and trauma. I am a cognitive behavior therapist by training. I work with individuals to identify thoughts and behaviors that inhibit their lives and help restructure these thoughts to be more beneficial. The ultimate goal is to find more helpful ways of thinking so you can live with greater ease and happiness. I hold a Master's in Dance/Movement Therapy from Drexel University and a Bachelor's degree from George Washington University. I am also trained in dance/movement therapy and study the body and movements to understand how you are feeling and your history. While I predominantly provide verbal therapy, if you are open to movement work, I offer movement-based interventions and body-based mindfulness practices. I am passionate about women's rights and enjoy working with women to identify thoughts and behaviors ingrained by society and explore how to change them for more freedom and balance. I also specialize in working with mothers-whether working, on the go, or at home. As a mom of two, I often draw on my personal experience as a tool in therapy. I like to work with mothers to find balance in their lives and to transition into motherhood with ease.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
