Getting to know Amelia Didomenico

Driven but drained. Are you stuck in your head, always thinking, struggle to relax and/or feel uncomfortable or even scared to take your foot off the gas? Anxiety and stress is disrupting your ability to enjoy your life and even your relationships. You probably already have achieved so much in your life and yet you struggle to really feel accomplished or you thought you would feel more satisfied. You may be going through a major life transition and need support to get through a huge loss or gain. You may find that you are overwhelmed, confused and exhausted by the emotional, mental and even physical strain you are under.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I specialize in helping people build their inner resilience through compassion, insight, and relationship. As a former personal trainer and nutrition coach - I encourage whole body healing with evidence based methods to support clients with anxiety, grief, lack of fulfillment, purpose, career satisfaction, sleep issues, relationship & parenting challenges.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Initially we focus on building a trusting relationship - I use Socratic questioning and active listening to learn the "who, what, why and how" of my client. Together we identify goals, strengths, baseline, triggers, blind spots and coping mechanism. I use a combination of somatic & CBT techniques to learn how to strengthen my clients ability to handle distress before we dive into harder topics.
