I'm a licensed clinical social worker in Virginia and California (license numbers: VA: 0904013582, CA: 99619), with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I spent my internship years working with dementia patients and gained experience with the chronic pain population. Working in an intensive outpatient program environment, I became familiar with supporting a wide variety of individuals in need of mental health care-from substance use disorders and postpartum PTSD to situational depression and panic disorder. I draw therapeutic interventions from a broad mix of treatment styles, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Psychodrama, and Mindfulness. In my private practice, I mainly work with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, panic, and trauma related to either long-standing life experiences or situational events leading to general malcontent.

I'm not sure what's going on here, but I had two receptionists from this practice contacting me giving me contradictory information about whether or not this appointment was happening. It was bizarre. I had to show them each other's messages because they didn't talk to each other. Maybe she outsources her admin team to some crazy bottom-barrel company?
