Hello,
My name is Amistic.
I am passionate about supporting young adults as they navigate the complexities of parenting, relationships, and/or personal growth. I understand that balancing the demands of raising children while managing relationship stress, conflict, or heartbreak can feel overwhelming. My goal is to create a compassionate and nonjudgmental space where individuals can explore their emotions, strengthen communication, and rediscover balance in their lives.
Whether you're adjusting to parenthood, coping with a breakup, or trying to rebuild connection within your relationship, I believe healing begins with understanding and self-compassion. Through collaborative and evidence-based approaches, I help clients gain clarity, develop healthy coping tools, and create meaningful change that aligns with their values and goals.
I also work with individuals using a strength-based approach to show you that you are capable of all that you put your mind to. That can be working it out in your relationship, parenting or family conflicts, relieving anxiety or stress, or alleviating academic or professional struggles.
I earned my Bachelor's degree and Master's in Social Work from Louisiana State University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Each session is your dedicated time. Collaboratively we work on goals and each session is tailored to your needs. At times therapy can be emotional but it will also be positive and fulfilling. It is all a part of the healing process to a healthier you.
