What should a new client know about working with you?

I'm certified in EMDR and Trichotillomania. My work history includes inpatient, outpatient, and intensive outpatient settings. I've worked with severe mental illness (bipolar, schizophrenia, etc.), chronic pain, teens, autism, LGBTQIA, disabilities, kink lifestyle, and multicultural groups. Currently only offering teletherapy at this time.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I have an eclectic approach that changes based on my client's needs. My primary modalities are CBT, Trauma-focused (such as child-work and EMDR), Narrative, Existential, and Psychodynamic. I'm very emotion-focused and enjoy helping clients build self-esteem and self-compassion. You can expect to spend time doing deep, inner-work and taking a holistic perspective on mental health. Treatment plans vary based on your individualized needs. There is no one-size-fits-all treatment. I will work hard to make you feel validated and safe in this space and will use my skills to provide you with what you need. We will move at your pace, and create goals towards a healthier future. Clients report feeling enlightened and an overall sense of empowerment after spending time with me.
