Psychotherapist

After spending 14 years learning about the human brain and mind, being trained extensively in various treatments, and working since 2009 in several settings, I have learned to focus on what you personally struggle with and need to change. I hold a Master's in Counseling from Adler University, which has deepened my understanding and skills in supporting clients. I believe treating you as a whole person, not just focusing on the disorder, is essential to positive change and finding your purpose. There is much more to us than having a disorder. Therefore, I listen to you and get to know you well in order to tailor a treatment plan that fits you and your most important needs. My end goal is to help you find your path, which is critical to leading a meaningful life. Fighting addiction, depression, anxiety, and PTSD is not an easy task. Since 2009, I have worked with clients who struggle with one or more of these symptoms. Applying evidence-based approaches, changing clients' faulty assumptions, and finding HOPE are the keys to a successful outcome while keeping culture and ethnicity in mind. "It is not one size fits all." Empathy, genuine acceptance, and understanding are essential to change. Many people are looking for a magic pill. Change and growth require working with a therapist who truly cares about your well-being and is willing to listen attentively to you. Growth is only obtained outside of your comfort zone. Change is the only constant aspect of our lives.
