Amy Barkley, LMHC

Amy Barkley, LMHC

Psychotherapist
FL
Struggling with negative body image and low self-worth? Worried about your relationship with food? Are you hoping to improve your relationships or reduce stress? I am here to help. I have a passion for helping people build better relationships with themselves. Starting (or restarting) therapy can be tough, so I work with clients to manage those complex thoughts and feelings. I use a therapeutic approach that seeks to understand current patterns impacting your mental health by exploring patterns that have likely existed throughout your lifetime. Together, we will learn how to make life more manageable through better understanding and meaningful change. I have been a therapist since graduating from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota in 2018. Additionally, I hold a Master’s degree in Art Therapy from Saint Mary’s College of California. Over the past four years, I have worked with adults recovering from eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and trauma. In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking, and snuggling with my adorable dog Dabo.
