Getting to know Amy Demner
My goal is to help people not just get through life, but truly thrive. While I do work with individuals who have experienced long-term mental health challenges, most of the people I see are high-functioning but feel stressed, disconnected, or stuck. With a Ph.D. in Human Sexuality from the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality and experience as a clinical sexologist, I understand how vital it is to love ourselves and others openly and honestly. By fostering this kind of self-acceptance and connection, we can greatly improve our overall well-being.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and am Board Certified in Art Therapy. Whether you're facing trauma, relationship struggles, or navigating identity issues, I see your strength in coming forward. I work with individuals who are not just seeking to manage their challenges but are ready to explore themselves on a deeper level.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
