Getting to know Amy Discepolo

I like to use a gentle, caring, non-judgmental, and creative approach. EMDR can be so wonderful when dealing with trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, and many other challenges that keep us stuck. I am trained in EMDR and its component, Flash, as well as other trauma-informed, creative, and energy modalities. I offer a sharing space for us to meet. I have 5 years of experience working in inpatient, outpatient, and residential treatment settings. I have facilitated group, family, couples, and individual therapy. I have worked with various issues, including co-occurring disorders. Much of my work has focused on helping people with addictions, and I also work extensively with trauma-related issues. I hold a Master’s degree in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor’s degree from Emmanuel College. I am an artist who enjoys painting abstracts and creating digital illustrations. I am very involved in physical activities like martial arts, sports, dance, and going to the gym. I love the beach, riding my bike, and being outdoors.
