Getting to know Amy Eshleman

I am licensed in Florida with 23 years of professional work experience. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Temple University. I have experience helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step toward a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage, and I am here to support you in that process. I have a deep passion for helping people move past whatever is blocking them from living the life they want and having the relationships they desire. I have been providing therapy for over 20 years and have worked with many different populations and needs. I specialize in trauma treatment, attachment concerns, and dissociative qualities. I can assist with individual, couple, or family needs.

What should a new client know about working with you?

During the first meeting, I am interested in understanding what your concerns and needs are. I believe developing a strong bond between myself and the client is vital to successful treatment. I strive to come alongside you to create a goal and plan that you believe will move you toward the life you want to have. Many times, at the end of the session, a small focus will be established to help the client be more intentional with an aspect of the treatment work until the next session.

In-network insurances

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Amazing knowledge of material, gives helpful tasks to work on both in and outside of session, is always sure to check up on everything to ensure I understand, acknowledge, and know how to implement the material.
Amy has been so useful in helping me to recognize patterns and understand where they could be coming from. She is friendly and open minded and has valuable things to offer. I appreciate her feedback and insight so much!
I would like to select more than two options about her style, she's very direct but also highly intuitive and can direct the therapy session accordingly. She challenges me but also makes sure to call out my personal successes particularly when I'm getting down on myself. Highly recommend working with her, I think she's got a keen insight into the human condition and genuinely wants to help people succeed.
Truly appreciate her feedback and kindness
I have been working with Amy for a while now - even on a different platform! She has such an amazing way of challenging me & supporting me while I continue on my journey. She can educate me in a way that makes sense but never just gives me the answers; just helps be get to those breakthroughs in my own time.
Amy is the best and would recommend her to anyone that needs a therapist! It truly impresses me every time how she's able to take the information I give her and understand the meaning behind everything and then come up with a great solution. She always has nuggets of gold!
Working with Amy has helped me immensely. She listens well and is direct in communicating her thoughts. I am finding peace as well as improving me skill set to deal with a difficult situation.
