Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, or money? Maybe you don't quite feel like yourself anymore, and you're not sure what to do. I'm here to support you in creating new coping skills and building the bridge to connect to yourself and your relationships fully again. I value leaning into our strengths and understanding how the systems we live in impact our daily lives. I utilize an eclectic mix of trauma-informed approaches including CBT, mindfulness, interpersonal, and somatic tools. I especially welcome humor in our sessions as a tool to find relief in our daily struggles. As a Certified Financial Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from The Catholic University of America, whether you want to overcome anxiety around money or receive tools to feel financially empowered, I can help with that too. Outside of sessions, you will find me riding my bike, exploring nature, or snuggling my cat. I look forward to getting to know you!

We are out of network with all insurances. While we understand many clients are looking to use their health insurance, we have made the very intentional decision to move away from managed care in order to protect and respect the privacy and autonomy of vulnerable populations we serve. Health insurance often creates unnecessary barriers to care for clients and perpetuates abusive and unsustainable burdens on clinicians. For people who have experienced harm from systems that were supposed to help, we believe this is the first step towards allowing you to have access to affirming and supportive care. Because we do not participate with insurance, Out of the Margins utilizes an equitable price model that is designed to make individual therapy as financially accessible as possible (please note that couples and group therapy are not part of this model). We do this for the purposes of reducing barriers to mental health care, intentionally redistributing financial wealth and privilege, and empowering our community to build and nurture healing spaces of affirmation and belonging. With this model, Out of the Margins asks you to use the chart below as a self assessment tool to help you select a payment bracket that most closely aligns with your current financial situation. This system also works best when clients share with their therapists if there are changes in their financial picture that impact the original fee they have chosen. As such, we view this tool as an ongoing conversation and part of helping historically marginalized communities to feel empowered to discuss and manage their financial goals as part of their therapeutic goals.
