Hi there, I'm Amy! Working on your life takes a great deal of courage. By moving forward in this journey, I'm certain courage will be one of the many strengths you will discover and develop within yourself. I am a therapist who works from a strengths perspective. I have worked previously with people in life transition, those coping with stress, anxiety, and depression, and people healing from various types of trauma. From birth to death, we face many obstacles that can sometimes feel overwhelming, but with the right help and skills, life can be easier. I work with individuals every day with this hope in mind. My approach I have trained in multiple types of therapy, including CBT, CPT, MI, and trauma-focused approaches. I am committed to prioritizing those needs you see as most important in our work and assisting with skills that help in those identified areas. I also believe in holistic care and collaborative care to ensure you receive the best overall treatment. Developing skills that can assist you in multiple areas of your life is important to making and maintaining progress. Through the process of setting and measuring goals often, you will be able to see your successes, which cultivates momentum and leads you to additional and deeper growth. My focus Through years of experience, I have focused on multiple populations and have helped identify multiple solutions to a wide array of issues. Throughout treatment, my goal is to empower you to live your life in the best way possible for you. My job as a guide is to explore the optional paths available and give you the tools to choose your destination. Guiding you through the process of self-exploration, identification of goals, processing thoughts and feelings, developing coping skills, and following through with a solid plan of action allows you to move forward in life in a positive way.
