Amy Frey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience working with individuals, families, and couples. She specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment disorders, and couples therapy. She also facilitates our “Cultivating Connection & Community” group as well as our Parents Support Group. Amy earned her Master's in Social Work from Aurora University. She uses a variety of therapeutic techniques, including EMDR, CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Strengths-Based Therapy, and Inner Child Healing. She is trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy-Level 1 and Level 2-through The Gottman Institute. Amy incorporates humor in sessions when appropriate because laughter creates positive emotions and helps reduce anxiety. Your sessions with Amy can provide a safe place to share, explore, and understand your history, identify your strengths and challenges, and set goals so that you can find inner peace and contentment. Amy is available for individual, couples, and family therapy, both in person and via secure Telehealth. You may contact Amy to schedule an appointment.
