Welcome to the first step in feeling better! I am honored to be a partner in your journey of wellness and healing and look forward to walking beside you through whatever is causing you to feel stuck, anxious, or down. My approach My treatment approach is pretty simple- I believe everyone has the answers already; my role is to help you find your voice, your joy, and your passion for life again. My first and primary interest is to help define goals and work together on a path forward. My focus I can support you through deep listening- not listening to respond, but listening to understand. My hope is that you will share your story and allow me to help you move through the difficult spots. My communication style My communication style is transparent, honest, and above all, non-judgmental. Apologies for feeling emotional or being upset are not necessary in my session. My journey to mental healthcare I have sat in the chair you now occupy, and I know what bravery it takes to pick up the phone to make an appointment. It is with great respect that you have chosen me to be a part of your journey. I have experience as a provider to couples, individuals, and the military, among others. My goals for you Through a process of getting to know you, I will ask clarifying questions about what the most important changes are you'd like to make. As we progress in treatment, I will have you do check-ins on those goals to see how we are moving the needle and if there are any adjustments we need to make.
