“It's easy to log into and access to video is step by step. Video quality is excellent so I can see and hear my counselor. Amy does a great job not only active listening but direction the topic when I get to rambling. She has many resources she uses to keep engagement at a premium. She is awesome!”

Amy Lemmon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has been practicing since 2010. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Indiana University Bloomington, obtained in 2001. Amy is experienced in treating anxiety, depression, adjustment to chronic illness and medical conditions, adult life transitions, and women’s issues. She works with individuals aged 18 and over and has counseled a diverse group of adults in clinical, community, and outpatient settings.
Amy employs a variety of clinical approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), person-centered and strengths-based perspectives, and mindfulness. Her therapeutic style is holistic, relational, and rooted in mutual respect and understanding. She is passionate about helping individuals build more meaning and positive change into their lives through self-awareness and self-acceptance.
In her free time, Amy enjoys traveling, cooking, 90s music, semi-regular meditation, and attempting tree pose in yoga. After relocating back home from Chicago in 2021, she appreciates being near family and friends again.
