“Amy made me feel extremely welcomed and heard during our launch session. She’s a stellar listener who clearly reviewed the onboarding documents I shared prior to us meeting. That was great, because Amy had an idea of me right away. I am already looking forward to continuing our sessions!”

“I had a fantastic experience having online visits with Amy. She was very insightful and supportive. Even though I was unsure about therapy as a whole, she made it a fantastic experience and taught me how to accept help. The best thing I can say about Amy is that I am more whole and well than I was before I started to see her.”

Please note that we do not accept insurance plans managed by third party administrators. Please check your insurance to make sure it is managed directly by the insurance company (Aetna, Cigna). Also, please provide insurance cards and email addresses as these are required to be seen. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of New York, with both my undergraduate and graduate degrees obtained from the City College of New York. Prior to joining Purposeful Living, I completed my practicum at Queens College, where I worked primarily with college students in both individual and group therapy settings. During this time, I gained valuable experience addressing a variety of challenges, including stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, academic difficulties, interpersonal relationships, identity issues, familial and cultural concerns, and life transitions.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I have a deep commitment to helping clients navigate a variety of mental health challenges, including ADHD, depression, bipolar disorder, attachment issues, trauma, grief and bereavement, stress, anxiety, and interpersonal relationship difficulties. My passion lies in supporting individuals as they work through their struggles and discover healthier coping mechanisms. Additionally, I have a strong interest in working with teens, young adults, couples, and families. I believe that by serving these diverse populations, I can broaden my experience and deepen my understanding of the unique dynamics that influence mental health across different stages of life. My goal is to provide compassionate and effective support to empower my clients and help them achieve their emotional well-being and relational harmony.
