My name is Amy Jones, and I am licensed in Texas with 3 years of professional work experience. I earned my Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University. Before entering the counseling field, I spent 15 years as an Elementary School teacher at multiple K-12 campuses and worked as a K-12 School Counselor for 3 years while completing the hours required to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I am also currently a School Psychologist intern, completing the hours needed to become a Licensed School Psychologist. I have experience helping clients with motivation, self-esteem, depression, stress, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflict, coping with grief, parenting challenges, career difficulties, and building confidence. I believe you are the expert on your story and that you have many strengths to help you overcome the challenges you face. What should a new client know about working with you?
As your therapist I like to put you in the driver's seat, you are the focus and I am the facilitator working to help you through a tough time. More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
