My interest in working with people began during my years of teaching Special Education preschool for my local school district. This experience taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and understanding the unique needs of each individual. I also had the opportunity to work in various adult crisis units, hospitals, and an adult residential treatment facility, which broadened my perspective and deepened my commitment to helping others. I love working with a diverse population, appreciate the qualities each person has, and recognize the difference each one can make. I believe there is good in everyone and all people have value. My non-judgmental approach accepts you where you are and sees you as a unique individual. My goal is to create a safe space where you can be comfortable being yourself and where you will feel respected and understood. I specialize in anger management, anxiety, children's mental/behavioral health, adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health, depression, gender identity, grief/bereavement, LGBTQIA+ support, life transitions, military/veteran support, PTSD, spirituality, stress, trauma, and family relationships.
